People are always talking about funnels, and for good reason — they’re the best way to generate cold leads. And there are probably lots of people here to talk about funnels. We’re not downplaying the value. However, in our experience, the single best way to generate leads is good old-fashioned networking, just not the way most people think.
The problem with traditional networking is that it’s pitch driven, instead of focusing on building relationships, which leads to the best leads. When you can truly connect with people without the expectation of reciprocity, they often evangelize on your behalf. And you might be surprised who they immediately want to connect you with.
